Free beta. Manually scoped pilots.

Start with the free environmental API beta. Proposed paid plans and contributor access are described below; no self-serve paid subscription is currently available.

SmartSurf is Senlay's product origin and reference experience. This page covers Senlay's API evaluation and its separately scoped sensor-contributor pilots.

Evaluation access, with commercial licensing pending

Current Open-Meteo access is not licensed for paid production use. Commercial source rights, reliability, and domain validation must be confirmed before a commercial deployment. Pilot access is manually agreed, limited in scope, and does not establish production or safety readiness.

The free beta is available now. Paid prices are proposed or individually scoped; they are not current subscription revenue.

Questions

When will paid plans launch?

Paid subscriptions are not launched. The evaluation beta is being used to learn about developer workflows; external demand, repeat use, and willingness to pay remain unvalidated.

Will the evaluation beta remain free?

The current evaluation allowance is free under its published limits. Senlay has not promised permanent free access; check this page for current terms before building around the allowance.

What counts as an API call?

One authenticated verification request to /api/v1/pwm counts as one account request, including cache hits. Daily usage is shared across all active API keys on the account. The endpoint returns available live and model data, source/freshness metadata, confidence signals, interpretation, uncertainty, and structured evidence for software or AI workflows.

Can I use Senlay commercially during beta?

Current Open-Meteo access is not licensed for paid production use. Commercial source rights, reliability, and domain validation must be confirmed before a commercial deployment. Use the beta for evaluation under the applicable provider terms; discuss any commercial pilot first.

Who pays first?

Robotics teams and outdoor software developers are prospective buyers. Senlay is pre-revenue; external demand, retention and willingness to pay still need to be validated. Contributor pilots are manually agreed and do not establish paying traction.

If I contribute a sensor, do I still need a paid plan?

Contributor pilots are manually agreed. Registering a station does not automatically change your API allowance. Ask Senlay to confirm eligibility, scope, limits, source rights and pilot duration before relying on access.

Need higher limits, risk_event support, or pilot access?

If your drone software team is evaluating spot-level wind evidence, contact us to discuss a limited workflow, source terms, and open questions. Other domains require separate validation.
